Pakistan Railway jobs in Police Recruitment Advertisement 2025 has been recently published through the advertisement of newspaper daily express.Applications are invited from suitable and qualified male/female candidates from all over the country for the recruitment to various categories of positions in Pakistan Railway Police, on the prescribed form. Interested candidates who meet the required criteria for the posts, including educational qualifications, age limit, and physical standards, can submit their applications by filling out the prescribed form at the relevant railway office in person, through a relative, or by post.The Pakistan Railway Police department is currently seeking professional individuals for positions such as Sub Inspector Legal, ASI, Bomb Disposal Technician, and Constable. Appointments for these positions will be made according to the provincial quota. In addition to men and women, members of the minority community are also encouraged to submit their applications. Regarding Quota Recruitment
The recruitment will be conducted according to the provincial quota, as detailed below.
1: Open Merit 7.5%, Punjab including Federal Area Islamabad 50%, Sindh Province 19% (40% of the 19% quota is allocated for urban areas such as Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkur, while 60% of the 19% quota is allocated for rural areas excluding Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkur).
2: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 11.5%, Balochistan 06%, Gilgit Baltistan 01%, FATA (merged districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 03%) and Azad Kashmir 02%.
3: In addition to the above-mentioned quotas, there is also a 10% quota for women and a 5% quota for minorities included in the available positions. This recruitment is for the Railway Police under the jurisdiction of Crime Control and Counter-Terrorism.
Upper Age Limit and General Relaxation
The upper age limit for obtaining Pakistan Railway Police jobs is set at 18 to 30 years for the position of Sub-Inspector Legal. For all other positions, the upper age limit is 18 to 25 years. However, the upper age limit can be relaxed by 5 years in accordance with the prescribed government rules.
Physical Standards
For Male Candidates:
- Height: 05 feet 07 inches
- Chest: 33" × 34 1/2" (Expansion: 1 1/2")
- Running: Must cover 01 mile in 07 minutes.
For Female Candidates:
- Height: 05 feet 02 inches
- Running: Must cover 01 mile in 10 minutes.
Available Positions
Procedure and General instructions to submit Application
Step#01: Candidates must submit the application form along with 3 copies of all educational documents, domicile, character certificate, affidavit, 9 passport-sized photographs, and 4 self-addressed envelopes with complete name, address, and phone number written on them.
Step#02: Interested candidates can obtain the prescribed form from the Pakistan Railway Police website

Step#03: Candidates must attach a postal order of Rs. 500/- in favor of AIG Admin Pakistan Railways Police along with all the documents. The postal order will be non-refundable and non-transferable. Candidates should write their CNIC number on the back of the postal order.
Step#04: Candidates who pass the physical test will be allowed to appear in the written/online exam. The written exam will be conducted either departmentally or through any testing agency, according to the qualifications/educational criteria of the respective post.
Step#05: In case of success in the written exam/MCQs, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview based on merit.
Step#06: A candidate will be deemed eligible for the next stage only after passing the current stage. If a candidate fails at any stage, they will be deemed ineligible for the next stage.
Step#07: Each candidate must provide their mobile number, email, and complete address on the recruitment form, so that qualified candidates can be notified about further stages in a timely manner.
Step#08: Each eligible candidate will be notified about the physical test (running), written examination, and interview through mobile phone, email, and a call letter via post in a timely manner.
Step#09: The selected candidates must undergo security clearance before the issuance of the recruitment call letter. The selected candidates can be posted anywhere within Pakistan Railway Police.
Step#10: The selected candidates will be required to pass the mandatory course for the relevant post. In case of failure, they will be dismissed from the job.
Step#11: The running test for eligible candidates will be conducted from February 26 to February 28, 2025, in various districts of Peshawar Division, Rawalpindi Division, Lahore including Mughalpura Workshop and Central Police Office, Multan Division, Sukkur Division, Karachi Division, and Quetta Division.
Step#12: These vacancies will be on a contract basis. The last date for submitting applications for these positions is 24 February 2025.
